The Elegant Fisher

Brandt Cormorant are SUCH beautiful birds. BIG, sleek black and agile hunters underwater with their wings beating, and their giant swim-fin like feet propelling them through the water after schools of small fish they love to consume. After a long day at Sea feeding they'll come in off the sea at night to roost in the Sitka trees near our home and dry their wings. (Unlike all other water birds, the GREAT creator forgot to provide oils for their feathers!)
