Licorice Fern-Front & Back

A fern that lives in the branches and forks of trees in coastal Oregon, and whose name-sake root has been a favorite taste treat for country-folk for centuries. This print was made by inking both sides of the fern and its roots, folding the paper down the middle, and printing both at the same time.
