This is an homage to two of my favorite sea creatures…the 8 legged Giant Pacific Octopus, and one of its special habitats, the "forests of the sea", Giant Kelp. This piece is the most ambitious of my dimensional pieces to date BY FAR. Three different dimensional levels created by using yards of 300lb rag fine art papers, 110 little hardwood dowels for lift and a special 24K gold eye and signature seal to honor these two watery beings.
