This shield like image contains representative elements from all the habitats here in the Cascade Head Biosphere reserve on Oregon’s central coast: It is my tribute to the: 

• LAND (Rare 327 year old yellow cedar round from the beach
  near my home)
• SEA (Boa Kelp from the Westwind sand spit)
• AIR (a Common Murre sea bird feather)
